“Footdreams Performing Arts” is a Cork based Performance School offering dance/drama/singing classes to students from pre-primary to advanced levels. At Footdreams we strive to encourage all students in all walks of life regardless of ability. Every student is given an equal opportunity to shine.
Footdreams Performing Arts was established in 2005 and is under the direction of Ms Tracey O Donovan-Linnane. (UTDM B.M.T UTDF P.A) The main studio is located in Mahon Point Shopping Centre with branches also operating throughout the city.
Our Dance classes are catered for students aged 3yrs+. Classes are split into age accordingly groups
(3-5yrs) (6-9yrs) (10-14yrs) 15yrs+. We offer a wide range of dance subjects including modern, ballet, stage, tap, pre-school movement to music and an advanced lyrical/contemporary programme. Students will enjoy and explore all aspects of dance. Class content includes flexibility, posture, technique, strength and conditioning along with choreography skill. Students are encourage to participate in our yearly graded dance examinations with the United Teachers of Dance along with been involved in our yearly productions.The United Teachers of Dance are members of the;

Our pre-school programme is hugely popular amongst younger students where students focus on the development of gross motor skills, socializing, counting/colors, self-expression and above all the all-important CONFIDENCE factor. Our advanced lyrical/Contemporary programme is an ongoing project giving advanced students the opportunity of a wide range of workshops to develop their skill. Current students are preparing to participate in the UTD scholarship awards in Birmingham later this year. Our Drama programme is hugely popular amongst all students. Students have great fun at all classes exploring creativity, imagination, improvisation but above all focusing on self-confidence- a key role in today’s society. Students learn how to be part of a group where all ideas are welcomed. Performance technique, stage craft and play writing/developing are some of the common concepts taught in these classes. We believe in delivering these classes in a fun environment through fun and games. Current students have had great success script writing an adaptation of Alice in Wonderland/ The Wizard of Oz. This was then performed @ Cork Opera House. Most recently students performed in their adaptation of The Lion King which was also a roaring success also at Cork Opera House. Throughout the year students are also given the opportunity to prepare for auditions,Pamto, Feis Maithiu , L.A.M.D.A examination and participate in our yearly production. Our drama programme caters for students aged 6yrs+. Don’t disappoint your Drama Queen/King. Live the dream be at Footdreams!!!!!
We are very excited to be offering our NEW group singing classes which was recently added. These classes were such a success amongst students who thoroughly enjoyed our recent mini term. Class content includes vocal warm up, vocal technique and musical skill. Students will then focus on the delivery of age appropriate pop/rock/soul etc. songs. Classes are of small proportions to enhance teaching ability and to also give each student an equal amount of time. Throughout the Year Students will also be given the opportunity to take grades with The London College of Examinations, participate in our yearly production/parents display evening and also prepare for auditions. Private tuition available.
